We're thrilled to announce that the Southeastern Chapter of AALL Annual Meeting will be held May 14–16, 2026, in the heart of North Carolina's Research Triangle — Durham, NC, hosted by the Goodson Law Library at Duke Law School.
This year’s theme — “SEAALL in the Research Triangle: Shaping the Future of Law Libraries Together” — sets the stage for bold conversations, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections. The Research Triangle is one of the most dynamic hubs of innovation and knowledge in the country — and there's no better place to envision what comes next for law librarianship.
Expect engaging programs, thoughtful discussions, and opportunities to connect with colleagues who are helping shape the future of legal research and information services.
Whether you’re a longtime SEAALL member or new to the community, Durham promises an energizing and inspiring gathering.
A Pre-Conference Institute will be held on Thursday, May 14, titled, "Teaching and Researching Law in the Age of Generative AI: Systems, Skills, and Strategies." Four interactive sessions will explore hands-on strategies librarians can utilize for creating best practices around AI.
We look forward to seeing you in the Research Triangle!
